我自认是个环保意识不高的人。 但这次到德国科隆，毫无疑问的，我已被德国人的环保精神“感染”到了。虽然只不过是短短的8天，但那天到莱沃库森再循环中心，看到许多当地人，一大清早驾车到那里将垃圾分类丢弃，我打从心底佩服他们对环保的热忱。
为什么德国的环保工作那么成功？为何德国人的环保意识那么强烈？
从这次行程，我了解到原来很久以前，巴塞尔的那一场大火改变了许多人原本对环境不闻不问的态度。德国后来颁布一项法令：政府有权指示机构或个人有关垃圾处理的方式。后来，法令的范围渐渐扩大，连产品包装也受到管制。

然而法令规法令，要是人民不主动，不积极参与，相信德国人现在的环保工作也不太可能达到那么高的水平。他们为垃圾分类的观念，仿佛已根深蒂固。（我觉得要是我现在移民到那里，会很不习惯。）很开心这次能参加Bayer主办的“青年环保使者”交流计划。虽然整个行程带点商业味，不过收获很大。特别是目睹到16个国家的100多名青年环保大使（新加坡有四名）在论坛中积极地发问和发言，真让我意识到原来在现代社会，竟然有那么多青年是那么爱护环境，想极力保护这个已受伤的地球。One of the Indonesian environmentalist envoys Fika really left a deep impression on me. This intellectual young lady who is eloquent,confident and knowledgeable asked quite a few good and intelligent environmental questions. She said her ambition is to be Minister for Environment.Hmm I can see her go far in life.一个同行也有同感。

Guess what!When i went to McClean toilet in Cologne railway station,i was utterly shocked.It costs me 1.1EURO(about $2.20) for a toilet trip!ah!
Needless say,the toilet is refreshingly clean.But...too ex la.....
