Is saying Thank you that difficult?

I am more than willing to do favors for others but it gets annoying when people never say thank you. Maybe it's because i am used to an environment where people are polite to one another. It is also well taught to me by my parents.

Even if it's just doing small favours, saying a simple Thank you is basic courtesy and the most basic form of appreciation.

I may sound petty but it's not just a single incident that gets me irritated ,upset and unappreciated. And i realised i'm not the only one who feels the same way.If I do something to help someone else, it is because I wish to do so out of common courtesy, and I expect nothing more than common courtesy in return.Sometimes we all take things for granted. Basic things, simple things.

ps:Maybe i am feeling very tired and sick, that's why little things just irk me.

You are looking forward to a "Thank you" ? I am happy not to get abusive people who scorn the people who is trying to help them. For this type of people, I will declare that I can no longer help them and ask them to seek others for assistance. $%&^%*^&(
